In Qatar, Vesselka’s Director was the Team Leader of the IT development for a private registry system that worked with the government registry for The Pearl in Doha. His experience in Africa includes advising on the development of a new executive agency in Lesotho to handle land administration while in Tanzania, he led the World Bank team to design a semi-autonomous title agency for the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development.

 

We have extensive experience in Central Asia including working with the Aga Khan Foundation’s University of Central Asia project, land and agricultural reform in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan and managing community development projects in twelve Afghan provinces.We represent a Romanian firm and its Afghan subsidiary for investment in small and medium manufacturing around Kabul.

 

Recently we have expanded our presence in the Middle East with a sub-contract to NIras Consulting and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland to modernize and streamline the operations of the Palestinian Land Authority. This two year contract aims to develop the capacity of the PLA through training, study trips for key staff and the modernizing of its ITC capabilities.

 

In Ukraine, Vesselka staff has managed the business development operations for an international private study and work program directed the regional office of a major international foundation covering Belarus and Moldova and maintains a permanent presence linking with the legal and investment communities. 

 

Our team has experience in pipeline construction in southern Russia and other oil and gas projects in the South Pacific.

 

Finally, we have helped to write legislation covering mortgage laws and condominium development in Georgia and drafted legislation reforming the land sector in Tajikistan which has significantly changed the current environment by allowing for the transfer and mortgaging of land use rights.
